The customer journey

Tap. Verify. Pay. Collect.

AgeVend connects the customer-facing purchase flow to the operator record behind it. Verification configuration and lawful placement remain specific to the operator, product, and jurisdiction.

  1. 01

    Tap to shop

Campaign content gives way to the stocked catalog and current machine availability.

  2. 02

    Select products

The touchscreen organizes products, prices, cart controls, loyalty, and supporting information.

  3. 03

    Complete the configured checks

First-time customers follow the configured ID + face verification sequence before checkout.

  4. 04

    Pay and collect

Cashless payment and machine delivery complete the transaction; sales and stock changes reach the operator platform.

  5. 05

    Return with a fingerprint

An enrolled returning customer can use the integrated fingerprint reader instead of repeating the full ID + face flow.

Built for the second visit

Verify once. Return with a fingerprint.

The AV-1 includes an integrated fingerprint reader for an optional returning-customer path. After a successful initial ID + face verification and enrollment, a returning customer can use a fingerprint match instead of repeating the full ID + face flow.

Optional enrollmentThe customer can decline and continue using the standard configured verification path.
Lower repeat cost$0.50 per successful fingerprint match, compared with $1.00 per attempted ID + face verification.
Fallback built inThere is no fee on failed fingerprint scans; the standard verification charge applies only when the fallback path runs.

Verification rules vary by product and jurisdiction. Operators must confirm when fingerprint identification may be used and what additional checks remain required.

Straight answers

Before you buy an AV-1.

Need a location-specific answer? Call 1-855-AGE-VEND or request a written route quote.

How much does an AgeVend machine cost?

The current AV-1 base machine price starts at $9,500. Shipping, taxes, software, payment processing, verification, installation, inventory, licensing, placement, and other operating inputs should be confirmed in the written quote.

Is financing available?

Yes, subject to application, underwriting, and final terms. The secure application lets a business submit the information needed for review; no rate, payment, or approval is guaranteed by this page.

Is the kiosk screenshot real?

Yes. It was captured through an audited, read-only remote support endpoint from a connected AgeVend machine. The installed-machine image uses a real source photograph enhanced for presentation with the AV-1 hardware preserved. The hero lifestyle scene is separately labeled as an experience visualization.

Can I inspect the operator software?

Yes. The public demo is a tenant-scoped, read-only operation with 19 sidebar destinations and synthetic machines, products, inventory, transactions, and faults. It contains no real merchant data and mutation endpoints are disabled.

How much does verification cost?

ID + face verification is $1.00 per attempted verification. Fingerprint verification is $0.50 per successful match, with no fee on failed fingerprint scans. If the machine falls back to ID + face verification, that standard path is billed when it runs.

Who handles card processing?

Card processing is provided by Lifted Payments at a published 3.99% rate. A separate payments application and approval are required before the machine can go live.

Does the machine make every placement legal?

No. Product category, location, supervision, licensing, signage, payment, and verification requirements differ by jurisdiction. Operators remain responsible for confirming the rules and approvals that apply to every machine and product.

What should I measure before delivery?

Confirm the full route from unloading to final placement, including door widths, hallways, turns, elevators, slopes, floor condition, ceiling height, power, network, customer approach, and service clearance. The AV-1 dimensions are 72 inches high by 60 inches wide by 36 inches deep.
