Use the verified cabinet dimensions

The AgeVend AV-1 measures 72 inches high by 60 inches wide by 36 inches deep. Record those dimensions in the site file and compare them with the complete route from the delivery vehicle to the intended operating position. A wall measurement alone does not prove that the machine can reach or function in the space.

Do not infer weight, electrical demand, doorway requirement, floor loading, or service clearance from the cabinet dimensions. Ask AgeVend and the relevant delivery or site professionals to confirm those values for the quoted configuration before scheduling freight or modifying a location.

Measure the entire delivery path

Document loading access, curbs, ramps, slopes, exterior doors, interior doors, hallways, corners, elevators, ceiling conditions, floor transitions, and the final approach. Measure the narrowest and lowest points and photograph each turn. Note delivery-hour restrictions, property access, elevator reservations, certificates, and venue contacts.

A machine can fit its final footprint and still fail the delivery path. Review packaging and handling needs with the delivery provider rather than assuming the unpacked cabinet dimensions are the only dimensions that matter. Keep a written go/no-go decision before the machine is dispatched.

Protect the customer approach

The screen, payment interaction, verification flow, and product collection area need a clear customer approach. Evaluate queue direction, aisle width, nearby doors, emergency egress, accessibility routes, lighting, camera coverage, staff visibility, and the way traffic changes during peak hours.

Observe the location when it is busy, not only when it is empty. A space that appears generous before opening can become blocked by lines, furniture, events, merchandise, or temporary displays. The venue agreement should protect the approved machine area from later obstruction.

Plan service and restocking work

Route staff need a safe way to open, inspect, clean, restock, and service the machine without creating a customer hazard or blocking the venue. Define the working area, permitted service hours, stock staging, waste removal, key or credential control, and who coordinates with the venue.

Match the planogram and reserve inventory to the route. Connected AgeVend machines currently report 60 configured slot positions, but usable capacity depends on package dimensions, row configuration, product mix, and the amount of reserve stock the operation can receive and store.

Confirm power, network, and security questions

Before delivery, obtain the quoted configuration’s power and connectivity requirements. Verify the circuit and outlet plan with the appropriate site professional, identify the network or cellular arrangement, and document who responds if connectivity is interrupted. Do not publish or rely on an electrical number that has not been confirmed for the delivered machine.

Review lighting, camera coverage, impact exposure, spill risk, heat, moisture, cleaning, customer privacy, after-hours access, and the venue’s incident process. Security planning should cover the machine, the service area, route staff, customer support information, and the products selected for that location.

Create a pre-delivery sign-off

Bring the measurements, photographs, venue contact, access schedule, power/network confirmation, customer-clearance plan, service area, product planogram, and support responsibilities into one site file. Identify who approved each item and the date it was checked. Revisit the file when the location layout or machine configuration changes.
